Corporate Events Near Washington, DC

Get the Team Out of the City.
The Whole Place Is Yours.

Thirty-five minutes up I-270 from downtown, and the math changes: a full venue buyout for 80 people, seven private rooms plus the bar, free parking for every carpool, and one flat quote — for what a downtown bar charges for a roped-off corner.

Why DC companies make the drive

More venue, less money, zero strangers

Honest answers to the only question that matters: why leave the city?

🏠

The entire venue, closed to the public

Seven private rooms plus the main bar and stage, for groups of 50 to 80-plus. Your logo on the screens if you want it. Try getting that downtown.

💰

Suburban prices, one flat quote

Space, drinks and food as a single number for your date and headcount — not per person, no minimum-spend games. Tax and service charge shown up front.

🚗

Free parking for everyone

A lot right out front with room for vans and carpools. No garages, no validation, no $40 valet.

🚇

On the Red Line

A short rideshare from Shady Grove, the last stop on the Red Line, for anyone who'd rather not drive.

⏰

Daytime starts

We open at 5 PM, but for corporate buyouts we can open early — a 3 PM off-site with everyone back in the city by 8.

🎮

Something for the non-singers

Games are out every night, the bar is yours, and the private rooms mean nobody performs for strangers.

How a buyout works

Three decisions, then we handle it

Tell us headcount and date. You'll have a flat quote within one business day.

  • Pick your spaceFor 30 to 50, the bar area plus the VIP room. For 50 to 80-plus, the whole venue. Smaller DC teams book a single private room like anyone else.
  • Pick your drinksOpen tab, drink tickets, bottles to the rooms, or a flat bar package with no tab tracking. Most buyouts choose the package.
  • Pick your foodA shared spread sized for your headcount — wings, sliders, popcorn chicken, spring rolls and more — or order from the kitchen through the night.

Good to know

  • Drive time from downtown DC is about 35 minutes outside rush hour via I-270; plan on an hour at 5 PM on a weekday
  • Red Line to Shady Grove, then a short rideshare (about 2 miles)
  • A deposit holds the date; we invoice both the deposit and the balance
  • 18% service charge and Maryland sales tax are added to the quote
  • Early openings are arranged per event — tell us the start time you want
  • Every room has its own dedicated staff for the whole booking
Questions

Questions DC planners ask

Is it really worth the drive from DC?

For a group of 10 having drinks after work, probably not — stay in the city. For a department holiday party or an off-site where you want the whole place, parking, and a flat bill, the 35 minutes buys you a venue that doesn't exist downtown at this price.

How do people get there without driving?

Red Line to Shady Grove (the end of the line), then a short rideshare. Carpools park free right out front.

How many people can you host?

Up to 25 in the VIP room, 30 to 50 with the bar plus rooms, and 50 to 80-plus for a full venue buyout.

Can we start in the afternoon?

Yes, for larger buyouts. We open at 5 PM normally and can open early for corporate events. Tell us your preferred start time when you inquire.

How is it priced?

One flat quote for your date, headcount and hours, covering the space, your drink format, and food if you want it. Never per person. Tax and an 18% service charge are additional and shown on the quote.

Can you handle dietary restrictions?

Tell us when you book. The kitchen plans around allergies, and we disclose up front that the fryer is shared.

"We used the VIP room for a party. Several friends from abroad got to sing favorites from back home. I sang a song from a musical, classic rock, and old-school hip hop; one friend sang death metal. They even had arias. We all had a blast."

"Great experience for my group! Everyone was so nice and accommodating and the food was great. Would recommend!"
